Etienne De Crecy
Sounds like...Daft Punk
If you replace all the Triangles with Squares then remove all the squares from the equation and throw a bunch of unrelated shapes in to a small loud room.
That was my attempt at a show review after seeing Etienne's performance at Cinespace in LA last night. De Crecy will stop in SF for one more small club night before taking his Squares to the stage to headline All Points West in NY/NJ this weekend. I would not pass on this stage if you are going to be at the festival.

Muse
Sounds Like... Radiohead.
You know it. I know it. Muse knows it.
There are a few hilarious people on the internet that disagree.
They are funny. I call them "The Delusional"

The Strokes' "Razorblade"
Sounds like... Mandy by Barry Manilow.
Fab must really love his dog too.
Except I think at one point he tells his dog to drop dead.
Now that's just not nice.

Band of Horses
Sounds like... My Morning Jacket.
Okay okay... That one was pretty obvious.
I'm trying to build a database here people.

Phoenix's "Too Young"
Sounds like... Michael Jackson meets Bruce Springsteen meets Electronic Music.
I know that seems crazy right?
But it's true.
Everything I write is actually proven fact.

M83's "Kim & Jessie"
Sounds like... it either was or should have been in every John Hughes movie ever made.
